Therapeutic Approach
What is your approach?
Designing well-being through gold standard treatment and playful experimentation
Kate is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), an effective method for treating common difficulties like stress, anxiety, relationship issues, or self-esteem problems. She delivers CBT in a reflective, playful, and experimental way, encouraging small, manageable steps that help you discover what truly works for you — an approach she developed after years of clinical experience with clients.
Kate also weaves in insights from emotional science, neuroscience, personality psychology, and the latest advances in clinical research (such as burnout or mental overload) — always explained clearly and helpfully. These contributions help better understand your reactions and promote lasting, meaningful change.
What can you expect from therapy?
A space to focus on what truly matters — and to play with new possibilities
You’ll find a collaborative partner dedicated to figuring out what’s most important to you. Kate’s aim is to help you move toward greater happiness — whether that means easing persistent worries, unlocking your potential, or deepening your relationships with more calm and ease.
What tools will we use together?
Personalized tools & insights: Starting with you, guided by science
Therapy begins with attentive listening to uncover what weighs on you and what matters to you. Sometimes, being carefully supported is already enough to bring relief.
Depending on your needs, we’ll explore:
Insights from recent psychological research, always shared in a clear and helpful way.
Tiny experiments — small, practical shifts in thought or action — to find what helps you best ;
Structured conversations and Socratic questioning to clarify your thoughts and feelings.

How does therapy work?
Your journey in three simple phases
Phase 1: Getting to know you (Assessment)
Therapy is a space to refocus on what truly matters to you. We’ll start with a meeting to clearly understand your challenges, goals, and what is important to you. This step allows for a tailored follow-up.
Phase 2: Trying new things — both in action and in mindset (Intervention)
Next, we will work with tools adapted to your unique needs. You’ll learn to better manage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to try new ways of acting.
Phase 3: Adjust, refine, and grow (Follow-up and adjustments)
Therapy is an ongoing, flexible process. We’ll iterate–adjust strategies based on your progress and feedback, so you gain confidence and autonomy. You’re always in charge — you can choose to pause or finish therapy whenever you feel ready. And remember, you’re always welcome to check back in whenever you need support!
Why this approach?
Because it blends science, empathy, humanity, and flexibility.
With a deep understanding of psychology and neuroscience, Kate supports you compassionately to navigate the challenges of modern life.
