Digital mental health innovation

I spend a lot of my time—when not providing therapy—thinking about the frontiers of psychology, mental health, and technology. I have a particular interest in the safety and efficacy of AI interventions in mental healthcare.

I began this work in 2023 at the Brooklyn-based startup One Fact Foundation, where I was introduced to emerging AI-powered tools for mental health. Since then, I’ve researched the digital health market, interviewed psychologists, and explored how AI and technology can support clinicians, organizations, and individuals. This work led me to turn this into a practical solution: an administrative software for private practice healthcare professionals, which is set to launch later this year.

I’ve recently published some of my thoughts on the risks of AI for clinical use in Psychologie Québec, the magazine of the Order of Psychologists of Québec.

As I wrote there, I believe psychologists, as expert stakeholders, have a key role to play in shaping emerging technologies to better serve public mental health.

Reach out if you’re a founder, start-up or institution building in digital mental health, or researching the future of psychology and AI. I’d love to help you translate research and clinical expertise into practical, effective solutions.

I enjoy working on projects that contribute to more ethical, effective, and human-centered solutions for mental health.
